Expats Outraged: U.S. Tax Nightmare Forces One-Third to Abandon Citizenship

About a third of those polled are planning or strongly considering this step, with the number increasing since last year. The main reason is the burden of filing U.S. taxes on worldwide income and reporting foreign financial accounts, which can be complex and time-consuming.
